Likos Memorial Benefit There will be a Memorial benefit for Tyler Likos on Saturday, May 25th, from 4:00pm-11:00pm at the Knights of Columbus @ 261 South Legion St, Buffalo, NY. There will be Chinese Auction, 50/50's, Door Prizes and more. Advanced tickets $20.00. Tickets at the door $25.00. Proceeds will be split between Erie County A B A T E, who helped the Likos family a great deal through this tragedy, and a Scholarship fund in memory of Tyler for McKinley High School, students who wish to have a career in Criminal Justice. He Was a kind and gentle soul who touched many lives. Went to McKinley High, was involved in R O T C program. Graduated with Regents diploma in Carpentry and was studying Criminal Justice at ECC South, Tyler was just 20 years old when he was hit by a N F T A bus while riding his motorcycle. Annual Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor
Tribute Ride The ride starts on N.Y. State Route 38 and is to draw attention to the designated highway that was named to honor Vietnam Veterans. This ride is sponsored by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #377, 480, and 704 and by Chapter 17 of the Blue Knights. The 5th annual ride begins at the Owego Free Academy School on Sheldon Guile Blvd., in Owego, NY on Saturday July 20, 2013. The 98 mile ride kicks off at 10am from Owego and then will stop in Groton, NY for gas and food, before it continues on to the American Legion in Hannibal, NY, where there will once again be food and entertainment. Run - Hosted by Tranquil Thunder LRC The North Country Children's Clinic has an Unmet Needs program which was designed to help out individuals with the cost of medications who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford them. This program relies on donations to keep going and is in no way funded by any Federal or State entities. Without our donations this program will be lost forever! Come on out and help us raise the most money ever for this awesome program!!!
