The US House of Representatives has introduced HR1076,
and the US Senate has introduced companion bill S616, "The HIPAA
Recreational
Injury Technical Correction Act". This act would prevent employers from
discriminating against individuals who participate in activities such as
motorcycling, ATV'ing, skiing, snowmobiling, and horseback
riding in health insurance coverage.
