Legislative Update: June 19, 2006

I received several phone calls from the Assembly floor this evening. A4914, the Yield- Right-of-Way bill not only reported out of The Assembly Codes Committee, but also Rules Committee AND passed on the floor.

HOORAY!!!

The last word is that it looks good in the Senate. I will follow up on that tomorrow. Session ends on Thursday, though it's rumored that they may stay until Friday. So tomorrow is the last lobby day and I'm sure there will be a last-minute flurry of committee meetings and short-notice sessions.

I only have one appointment as I saved the day to be able to move quickly and freely as events unfold. It's been a long, hard pull this year, but it looks like we'll have some results to show for our efforts. More info will follow as it becomes available
